HelpJessBreathe.org was set up by Michael Birch after meeting a kidney transplant survivor, Holly Shaw. Holly was campaigning for more people to be on the Organ Donor Register so that others like her could also have a chance for life.
Holly got to know one such person personally, Jessica Wales. Holly had sent an email to all of her friends asking them to spread the word to help Jessica and 1000's more just like her. This site was set up to help that happen.
Remember, you're more likely to receive an organ than give an organ. Lets do something good together.
Jessica Wales has been waiting since she was 16 (4 years ago) for a double lung transplant. Her lung capacity is now only 11% and her condition is critical. Please help Jess, and 8,000 others just like her, by checking that you too are on the UK organ donor register.
